Google explains: ‘’Darkness the polar opposite of brightness, is understood as a lack of illumination or an absence of visible light. Human vision is unable to distinguish color or conditions of either high brightness or darkness. In conditions with insufficient light levels, color perception ranges from achromatic to ultimately black.’’
When we become believers and followers of Christ we exchange the darkness for light. We start walking in the light, following the path of righteousness; no longer bound to our sinful nature and released from the devils works.
2 Corinthians 6:14 says: ‘’Do not team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness?’’
Light cannot live with darkness same as darkness cannot live with light. For one or the other will be overpowered. Same as we cannot serve two gods, it’s either God or mammon.
It is very important that we turn from our old ways, such as; old friends, old lifestyles, and things that used to satisfy us.
What difference do we then have from those of the light if we are still living in darkness?
