Passing Through Seasons

Just as nature has its seasons, we too go through different seasons in our spiritual life.

Sometimes it is difficult recognizing which season we are in, and even more difficult to remain hopeful when we are in the season.

The seasons we find ourselves in the most is where God wants to use us.

Many of us are familiar with the dry, waiting, test, and trials season, as well as the spiritual warfare and happy seasons.

When we go through the unpleasant seasons; it often feels as if God is nowhere in sight, always remember that God is omnipresent. He promises in His word, He will never leave us nor forsake us.

‘’Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.’’ – James 1:12 ESV

We ask many questions as to why we were given this heavy burden, or why we are going through it and it is not because God does not love us, it is because God has something big in store for us, but with that comes patience.

‘’It takes different seasons in our life for God to mold us and make us what He wants us to be.’’ – Pastor Anthony

It is in the seasons where God molds and shapes us. One cannot simply go through a season unchanged.

We learn in our dry season that God’s silence does not mean He is not there. In our waiting season, we learn to trust God and His promises. Tests and trials make us realize that we are nothing without God’s strength and power. It is in the season of spiritual warfare where God teaches us to stand in our authority, He has given us. When we are in the happy season, let us not forget God.

Whatever season you find yourself in at the moment, trust God. Endure the trials and rest in God’s promises.

Soon you will reap the benefits of your crops.

Be ready, your season of harvest is near.
